About the Role
As Director of Wellness, you will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them, upholding our values and safeguarding the pillars of sustainability, wellness, and out-of-the-ordinary experiences. You will ensure all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented and embraced within the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the efficient and effective implementation of Wellness throughout the hotel.
- Work closely with Heads of Department, especially on offerings in the Spa and Fitness facilities, to provide exceptional product and service within brand operating standards.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices, updating knowledge and skills to improve product and service offerings.
- Continually focus on the rejuvenation of the health and wellness experience.
- Constantly assess wellness offerings, Spa treatments, exercise classes, and fitness facilities and equipment to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Arrange and conduct workshops and lectures for both hosts and guests on relevant health and wellness topics.
- Provide constant interaction, support, and communication with other departments for smooth operation.
- Lead a team of engaged and experienced hosts to provide Six Senses exceptional standards of operation and service.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Wellness or Hotel Management, or a closely related field.
- Have at least five years of experience in a luxury spa and wellness role within hospitality with proven results.
- Possess good administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and passion for wellness and sustainability.
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Sponsorship is not available for this role.
