About the Role
We are seeking a Graduate AI Engineer to join our AI innovation team and help shape the next generation of banking products. This role offers early-career developers hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies in an enterprise environment, working alongside experienced engineers and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered features for banking products.
- Participate in the full AI innovation lifecycle, from exploring new ideas and building prototypes to delivering scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Develop AI applications using banking data and business processes to generate insights, automate tasks, and enhance user experiences.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, solution experts, and customer-facing teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.
- Learn and apply best practices for developing secure, scalable, and reliable AI applications.
- Assist in integrating AI capabilities with core banking platforms and enterprise technologies.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and contribute innovative ideas.
- Take ownership of development tasks with mentorship from experienced team members.
Requirements
- Degree in (Business) Informatics, (Business) Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
- Interest in the consulting business within financial service providers.
- Understanding of different approaches to integrate LLMs into enterprise solutions.
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, R).
- First cloud-native development experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Skilled at translating business requirements into scalable AI architectures.
