About the Role
This critical technical role within Vertiv's ANZ Service division is responsible for delivering the full commissioning lifecycle of Vertiv's large Industrial Chiller units across the ANZ region. The position is integral to Vertiv's continued growth and service excellence in the ANZ market, and the successful candidate will uphold Vertiv's values of safety, professionalism, and technical ability.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record hours worked each day using a digital reporting tool.
- Complete commissioning/service reports within set timeframes.
- Proactively communicate project progress and site issues to the Project Manager & Service Operations Manager.
- Lead the full commissioning cycle across Vertiv's complete range of large Industrial Chiller units.
- Carry out L2, L3, and L4 commissioning tasks.
- Support the Service Team with maintenance and time & material works.
- Build trusted relationships with customers through professional, solutions-focused interactions.
- Participate in ongoing training across multiple Vertiv technologies.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Driver's Licence.
- Undertake overnight or extended travel as project demands require.
- Work on and around Energised Electrical equipment, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Safely work on live refrigerant lines and pressure vessels, in compliance with refrigerant handling regulations and licensing requirements.
- Have Work at Heights Training (refreshed every 5 years).
- Work within HVAC mechanical systems, showing physical adaptability including working in awkward body positions.
- Undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and components following WHS guidelines.
- Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations.
- Actively champion a safety-first culture on all sites.
- Identify, report, and mitigate workplace hazards promptly and effectively.
- Controls & Networking knowledge is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, inter-personal and problem-solving skills.

- Computer literacy at an intermediate level.
