About the Role
Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants to join their growing Conference & Events team. This role involves setting up, servicing, and packing down function spaces, delivering friendly and efficient food and beverage service, and ensuring memorable guest experiences during conferences and events.
Responsibilities
- Set up, service and pack down function spaces
- Deliver friendly, efficient food and beverage service across conferences and events
- Work closely with the kitchen and sales team to ensure smooth, timely service
- Keep function and service areas tidy, organised and well stocked
- Bring great energy to a fast-paced team and create memorable guest experiences
- Follow Hotel policies, WHS requirements and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality service — highly desirable
- Great communication and organisational skills, with an eye for detail
- A genuine passion for guest service and a willingness to learn and grow
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
- Full working rights in Australia
