About the Role

We are recruiting a Brand Manager to join a newly created Brand Marketing team working alongside the Head of Brand and the editorial team(s) at the Daily Express. Working hand-in-glove with newsrooms and internal creatives, you will turn editorial ideas into bold, high-impact campaigns across print, digital, social, video, audio, and events to drive genuine consumer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Turn editorial ideas into bold, high-impact campaigns across print, digital, social, video, audio, and events to drive genuine consumer engagement.
  • Partner with Editors and journalists to translate newsroom priorities into impactful brand marketing campaigns.
  • Deliver creative, memorable marketing campaigns that capture attention in crowded markets.
  • Manage projects to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Build trust-based relationships with senior editorial stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a Brand Manager, ideally within media, publishing, or a fast-paced consumer brand environment.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and delivering creative, memorable marketing campaigns that capture attention in crowded markets.
  • Strong ability to partner with Editors and journalists to translate newsroom priorities into impactful brand marketing campaigns.
  • A sharp eye for brand identity, tone, and visual quality.
  • Project management skills to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to build trust-based relationships with senior editorial stakeholders.
  • Strong familiarity with key regional markets and audiences across the UK and Ireland is highly desirable.
