About the Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of the kitchen team, ensuring chefs and service teams have everything they need to deliver great food and memorable experiences. You will help create a safe, efficient, and well-run environment by keeping the kitchen spotless, organized, supporting deliveries and stock movement, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy.
- Set up and maintain the tidiness of the back of house and the pass.
- Collect and wash pots, pans, plates, and cutlery, and return them to their place.
- Ensure food preparation sites are clean and ready.
- Maintain a full stack of plates ready for kitchen use.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries and organize storage.
- Track stock and inform the Head Chef when orders need to be placed.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth operation.
- Keep work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitized.
- Undertake any other reasonable request from management.
