About the Role
Vinted is Europe's largest secondhand fashion platform. The Marketplace team owns the core experience: how people discover, list, buy, and sell. We're hiring a Staff Product Designer to raise the design bar and bring strategic clarity to some of the most complex problems in the product. You'll join the Marketplace product design leadership team and be part of the craft leadership group.
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for projects that land measurable impact.
- Define the right work without waiting for it to be scoped.
- Raise the capability of ICs through pair work, critique, and direct coaching.
- Help other functions start thinking like designers, referencing design principles in their decisions.
- Drive the evolution of design standards as business, tech, and user context changes.
- Make AI-powered ways of working real for the team through experimentation, systematization, and clear communication about user impact.
- Turn ambiguous signals into investable opportunities by building cases and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Produce work that sets a new standard for the team.
- Earn the trust of senior leaders through sound judgment, clear narratives, and confidence in making design bets.
Requirements
- Strong proven experience (typically 10+ years) of product design for consumer-scale digital products.
- A portfolio that shows taste, judgment, and shipped impact.
- Ability to move work forward without being asked, being as comfortable doing as directing.
- Hands-on experience with AI in actual workflow: design, prototyping, and automation.
- Sharp eye for quality, knowing when the last 1% matters and when it doesn't.
- Steady demeanor when work is slow, contested, or unglamorous.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, knowing when to go deep and when to ship.
- A strong point of view and the ability to adjust it.
- Experience changing how an organisation works, not just what it shipped.
