About the Role
GoMedicus is building Germany's first digital primary care provider, integrating practices, telemedicine, and B2B health channels powered by proprietary technology. We are expanding rapidly in terms of staff and locations. This role is crucial for translating brand strategy into tangible visual assets across various platforms and for diverse audiences, including patients, doctors, and partners.
Responsibilities
- Translate brand strategy and architecture into designed materials and templates for GoMedicus, GoMedicus Prime, GoMedicus Kids, and MedKit Doc.
- Conceptually contribute to communication goals, target audiences, and situational relevance before designing.
- Design recruitment and succession campaigns, event materials, presentations, and sales collateral.
- Manage the material set for practice acquisitions, including announcement flyers, signage, patient information, and welcome kits.
- Develop a repeatable process with fixed deadlines for practice acquisition materials up to the printing stage.
- Oversee production, including print data, color management, and coordination with printing companies, workwear, and merchandise suppliers.
- Further develop brand directions into robust systems, focusing on GoMedicus Kids and Prime.
- Build template libraries, components, and design tokens in Figma to enable colleagues without design backgrounds to work compliantly with brands.
- Ensure quality by verifying that all external communications are consistent, correct, and approved.
- Utilize AI tools for concept development, variations, imagery, and prototypes, understanding their limitations regarding mandatory labeling, image rights, and accuracy of medical statements.
- Assist the team in writing better briefs using templates and clear workflows.
Requirements
- 4+ years in communication or brand design, in-house or agency, with a portfolio showcasing conceptual work and execution in print and digital.
- Ability to translate brand strategy into consistent materials, not just execute them.
- Proficiency in typography, layout, and visual systematics.
- Experience with brand systems and design tokens.
- High proficiency in Figma and print production using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Demonstrable experience with AI tools in the design process, with examples.
- Fluent German and very good English.
- Foundations in UX and interface design: information architecture, responsive layouts, accessibility.
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment.
- Experience with kids' or family brands.
- Experience with motion design, Webflow, or Framer.
