About the Role
Amazon’s European Expansions Transportation team is seeking a Program Manager to manage projects, implement and improve metrics, optimize supply chain routes, and ensure efficient package delivery across Europe. This role requires a passion for data-driven decisions that impact customer experience, effective communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to new tools and systems in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive performance improvement with partner carriers through root cause analysis of defects and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide best-in-class service to internal clients regarding costs, freight status, availability, and exceptions.
- Create and implement improvements to the transportation network for flexible and efficient customer solutions, including expedited and high-value freight options.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Ability to build customized logistics solutions
- Ability to drive process improvement
- Ability to standardize procedures
- Ability to eliminate the root cause of defects within current systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, ambiguous work environment
