About the Role
As a casual Early Childhood Educator, you will play an integral role in covering programming, sick days, lunch breaks, and potentially longer-term absences such as holidays or new positions. While we aim for advance scheduling for continuity and security, flexibility for short-notice shifts is appreciated.
Responsibilities
- Cover programming, sick days, and lunch breaks.
- Step in for longer periods, such as holiday cover or new positions.
- Create safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments where children feel valued, respected, and protected.
- Embed Child Safe Standards across services.
Requirements
- Available at short notice.
- Available for multiple shifts throughout the week.
- Share commitment to child safety, inclusion, and respectful relationships with children and families.
- Undergo child safety screening, including Working with Children Checks and reference checks.
