About the Role
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to develop end-to-end technical solution architectures for high-complexity and high-risk IT initiatives. Your efforts will achieve a rationalized portfolio of effective business and technology solutions that are cost-effective to the business, leveraging shared services and reducing redundancy, technical debt, and complexity.
Responsibilities
- Design (SA) in large or complex programs, including system and application designs, software and technical architecture, in accordance with strategies and objectives.
- Provide expertise for the (SA) team and other IT staff on software designs, system architecture, and solution-oriented technologies.
- Communicate with clients, analyze business requirements and processes, make recommendations, and lead in shaping future plans in (SA).
- Oversee (SA) project outcomes, including hardware and software design, ensuring each project phase meets overall requirements.
- Translate business requirements into solutions to support compliance, governance, corporate security, and policy library technology strategy, focusing on architecture blueprints, capabilities models, and enterprise patterns.
- Drive the organization towards targeted architecture states and improve the maturity of the architecture practice.
- Develop ongoing knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
- Participate in the day-to-day execution of the architecture strategy.
- Develop blueprints and conduct design reviews to ensure architectural compliance of solutions.
- Maintain a plan to address gaps between current and target state architectures.
- Facilitate collaboration within the organization and support the architecture lead and senior architects.
- Work across multiple projects and systems to develop, communicate, and mentor others on solution design, implementation, and operation patterns and best practices.
- Provide Mentorship/Leadership to other team members.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or an equivalent analytic-intensive field.
- Strong experience in information technology development, design, and architecture roles.
- Strong experience developing architectures on large data projects with proven results from initiation to implementation.
- Experience developing enterprise technologies and frameworks, including big data and No-SQL data stores, distributed computing, datalakes and lakehouses, service integrations, and service development architectures.
- Experience leading programs and projects involving the integration of different types of technologies and platforms.
- Knowledge of architecture aspects, including business architecture, data architecture, and cyber security architecture.
