About the Role
This role plays a vital part in advancing Amazon's culture and supporting Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) within the Amazon Logistics organization. The Fleet Scheduling Team allocates vehicles to support growth and is involved in expanding the electric fleet. The analyst will analyze complex data, simplify deployment plans for stakeholders, and prioritize the development of mechanisms to track and control deployment planning, focusing on fleet utilization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on modeling and defining decisions for efficient and cost-effective short/medium-term deployments (<10 weeks).
- Own deep dives and risk assessments for demand fluctuations or supply chain disruptions, advising on backup plans.
- Design and report on supply ramp progress, aligning with internal teams for business visibility.
- Own or support "LEAN" initiatives and cross-country/function processes such as auditing vehicle count/health, ad-hoc request processes, defleet incentives, and financial assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or engineering.
- Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups).
- Experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
- Experience with SQL.
- Understanding of fleet management and related KPIs.
