About the Role
This role focuses on resolving production disruptions caused by supplier performance issues within the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will lead problem-solving initiatives and ensure operational stability.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of production disruptions related to supplier performance.
- Lead structured problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, RCCA) with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Identify root causes and implement effective, long-term corrective actions.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure completion and effectiveness.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to restore and maintain operational stability.
- Organize and support other Quality Assurance (QA) activities, including projects, monthly reports, and other reporting requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical field (e.g., technology, technical documentation, technical writing, website development, Microsoft Office).
- Strong experience with data collection, analysis, and program tracking.
- Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for reporting.
- Strong experience organizing and delivering training, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong experience writing policies and procedures, including coordinating related projects.
- Strong experience with benchmarking and documentation mapping.
- Strong knowledge and experience with regulatory Quality Systems (TCCA, FAA requirements) and Quality Assurance methods, processes, and techniques.
