About the Role
Summer Associate / Senior Associates will work on companies in a wide range of industries on potential investments, acquisitions, analysis of potential exit opportunities, and the monitoring of current portfolio companies. They are involved in transaction due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements. The relatively small size of this group offers the opportunity to work closely with senior members of the firm and to have extensive interaction with management teams and external advisors.
Responsibilities
- Investment research
- Financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
- Industry and competitive analysis
- Business diligence
- Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
- Assistance in the execution and financing of transactions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a Full-time MBA student
- Anticipated graduation between December 2027 and July 2028
- Fluency (reading and written) in English and Japanese
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
- Resume must be in PDF format
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Solid knowledge of business strategy, finance, and accounting
- Prior experience in private equity is preferred
