About the Role
Amentum provides engineering, design, construction, and project management services for nuclear and defence industry clients, supporting the complete asset lifecycle. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Revit Designer to join our growing team on a hybrid working basis.
Responsibilities
- Produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment.
- Produce 2D drawings (layouts, arrangements, schematics, sections, elevations etc.) from the 3D model.
- Coordinate systems and resolve clashes across multi-disciplines.
- Work across multiple mechanical disciplines, including Mechanical Building Services.
Requirements
- Experience in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
- Ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment.
- Production of 2D drawings from the 3D model.
- Experience coordinating systems and resolving clashes across multi disciplines.
- Capability across multiple mechanical disciplines including Mechanical Building Services.
- Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards, work flows and information management.
- Familiar with working in a secure environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering disciplines & system designs.
- Reasonable experience in engineering in a defence or nuclear related industry preferred but not essential.
