About the Role
proteanTecs is seeking a Physical Design Application Engineer to support customers, provide training on tools, and work on full implementation and signoff flows for IP hardening. This role involves providing feedback to R&D to enhance the product.
Responsibilities
- Provide close support to customers and resolve any challenges
- Provide training to customers on our tools and present our technology
- Work on full Implementation and Signoff flow for some IP hardening
- Provide continuous feedback to R&D to improve the product
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in RTL2GDS/implementation flow & has taped out designs in advanced processes
- Knowledge of Cadence and/or Synopsys tools
- Strong scripting skills in TCL/python/Perl
- Excellent debugging skills & ability to prioritize tasks/issues
- English proficiency
- Experience in signoff STA/LVS/DRC flows of advanced processes – Advantage
- Has customer interfacing experience (AE) – Advantage
