About the Role
Data Entry Specialists are responsible for entering patient, client, billing, and test information into the Laboratory Information System. Information is either typed or accepted through electronic interfaces. Accuracy in this process is critical as it is the fundamental process upon which all laboratory operations are based.
Responsibilities
- Enter patient, client, billing, and test information into the Laboratory Information System.
- Process information that is either typed or accepted through electronic interfaces.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry as it is fundamental to all laboratory operations.
Requirements
- Must be able to type 8000 keystrokes/hour.
- Excellent computer skills required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
