About the Role
This role supports the Global Acceptance team within the Global Payments Network, focusing on ensuring the Discover network's acceptance in key international markets. The Sales Planning and Strategy team identifies growth opportunities and partners with Business Development to maximize worldwide acceptance. The Senior Business Analyst will provide strategic and analytical support to assigned international markets, developing territory designs, key performance metrics, sales targets, and actionable insights to optimize sales performance. This role is crucial for building a data-driven sales strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, assessment, and execution of strategic growth opportunities across assigned markets.
- Establish territory designs, sales plans, and analytical feedback loops to optimize field performance.
- Set annual and quarterly sales goals for markets, establishing measurement frameworks aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Product, Operations, and executive leadership to align and execute growth priorities.
- Serve as a key stakeholder and advisor in building data systems, operational workflows, and sales tools.
Requirements
- A passion for solving analytical challenges, with a proven track record of decision-making and problem-solving based on analytics.
- Experience working in the payments industry.
- Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement.
- A clear results orientation with an intense focus on achieving short and long-term goals in an uncertain and fluid environment.
