About the Role
In our production facility for soluble and liquid extract coffee, around 200 colleagues work daily to produce high-quality instant coffee. You and your team will ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Safety, responsibility, and a respectful approach are a matter of course for us, as is the joy of producing really good coffee together. You will support the energy and supply systems within the team and actively contribute to the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our energy and supply facilities. Responsibilities
- Operation and monitoring of our fully continuous power plant with modern biomass and gas boiler systems.
- Support of adjacent areas such as cooling towers and the wastewater treatment plant.
- Ensuring safe operation by actively controlling and accompanying start-up and shutdown processes.
- Responding quickly to disruptions, independently resolving the cause if possible, and performing minor maintenance, repair, and conversion work.
- Conscientiously recording and evaluating relevant operating data as a basis for smooth operation.
- Accepting operating materials such as industrial salt and chemicals, and dispensing coffee grounds for sustainable resource management.
Requirements
- Technical training or sound technical understanding.
- Experience in food production or handling steam boiler systems.
- Ideally possess a small boiler operator's license or be willing to obtain one (costs will be covered).
