About the Role
In our production facility for soluble and liquid extract coffee, approximately 200 colleagues work daily to produce high-quality instant coffee. As a machine and plant operator, you and your team will ensure that the production plants run reliably and efficiently. Safety, responsibility, and respectful interaction are a matter of course for us – as is the joy of producing really good coffee together.
Responsibilities
- Operate, control, and monitor all relevant production plants, including raw coffee receiving, roasting, extraction, liquid filling, agglomeration, and the tank farm, ensuring a smooth process.
- Perform maintenance and repairs, independently resolve malfunctions, and carefully document all measures taken.
- Monitor production quality according to specified quality and hygiene standards and actively contribute to compliance.
- Completely and comprehensibly document all required work steps and accompanying documents.
- Regularly clean product-contacting components according to established cleaning and hygiene guidelines.
- Support test runs, plant modifications, and new installations, thereby contributing to the continuous development of our production area.
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical training, e.g., as a machine and plant operator, food technology specialist, industrial mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
- First professional experience in the described area of responsibility.
- Willingness to work in full continuous shift operation.
