About the Role
Join a growing Sustainability and Climate Change team to help leading organizations navigate evolving sustainability and regulatory reporting requirements. You will assist clients in designing and implementing reporting frameworks, strengthening governance, conducting risk assessments, preparing disclosures, and providing assurance.
Responsibilities
- Help clients design and implement reporting frameworks.
- Strengthen client governance and controls.
- Conduct climate risk and opportunity assessments.
- Prepare climate and sustainability disclosures.
- Provide confidence through assurance and readiness reviews.
- Support clients across a broad range of advisory and assurance services, including Climate and sustainability reporting readiness for AASB S2, ISSB and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and review ESG, climate and sustainability reporting processes and controls.
- Manage teams and work autonomously.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including in-house or consulting roles in sustainability, finance, risk, strategy and/or Audit and Assurance backgrounds.
- Strong oral and written communication skills (including presentations, workshopping, and facilitation).
- Ability to apply structured problem-solving, technical skills and knowledge to design project approach and lead delivery.
- Experience delivering advisory, audit or assurance engagements involving reporting, governance, controls or risk management.
- Knowledge of sustainability and climate reporting frameworks and standards, including AASB S2, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (ISSB), TCFD, GRI and SASB.
- Understanding of assurance methodologies and the practical challenges organizations face in preparing sustainability disclosures.
- Experience supporting organizations to respond to emerging regulatory reporting requirements.
