About the Role
Completes technical-oriented service tasks of various scopes and supports in planning and managing these tasks. This position is part of Varian Medical Systems Korea and works closely as one team with Siemens Healthineers.
Responsibilities
- Completes broad scope of technical tasks including installation/commissioning, maintenance and evaluation of customer equipment and systems.
- Determines priorities of tasks and actions and schedules measures accordingly.
- Supports customer remotely and on site and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
- Contributes to or conducts the maintenance and improvement of internal tools, equipment, processes, and data repositories.
- Contributes to or executes activities for estimation, planning, and review of technical tasks in support of overall project acquisition, negotiation, planning and management.
- Adheres to relevant processes and regulations.
- May manage sub-contractors and monitors delivery.
- May be involved in technical design and developments for service offerings.
Requirements
- Degree holder of engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 10 years experience in service experience in medical device field.
- Experience in servicing Linac equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge in MS windows, office and Salesforce.com.
- Sound understanding of customers and their requirements.
- Fluent in the local language and English in both written and spoken.
- Must be mature and tactful.
- Good understanding of service commercial terms.
- Articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication.
- Willing to travel occasionally.
- Willing to work office and non-office hours as required.
- Candidates with less experience will also be considered.
- Candidates based in Daejeon will be preferred.
