About the Role
Own the learner surface end to end, including onboarding, content offering, delivery, and feedback mechanisms. This highly visible role is critical to the company's strategy, focusing on increasing weekly active learners from the current one percent to a higher target.
Responsibilities
- Own the learner surface end to end.
- Manage onboarding processes.
- Determine what content is offered to learners.
- Oversee content delivery mechanisms.
- Analyze learner behavior and feedback.
- Transition the product from a browsable catalog to a personalized experience.
- Develop personalized learning paths based on various factors (country, industry, company size, LMS usage, etc.).
- Collaborate with educational designers on content delivery and personalization.
- Define and own the measurement strategy for weekly active learners.
- Treat mobile as a primary platform, not an afterthought.
- Manage a unified content library including studio, customer-created, and on-the-spot generated content.
- Decide which content surfaces to which users.
Requirements
- Track record of owning a B2B2C product where the user did not choose the product, or a consumer habit-formation product.
- Demonstrated experience shipping personalization, routing, or recommendation features that measurably changed behavior.
- Comfort working on a platform with existing history while building new features.
- Ability to gather input, make decisions, and clearly articulate non-decisions.
- Habit of working in the open with visible thinking and early drafts.
- Genuine interest in how people learn.
- Comfort partnering with an embedded engineering manager.
- Experience with a leadership-set integration into the current platform is already on the roadmap.
