About the Role

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. As a part of The YouTube Ads Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team, you will bridge the gap between YouTube Ads product teams and regional commercialization teams. Your mission is to fuel growth by scaling innovation to customers, creators, and viewers by translating global market needs into meaningful product solutions. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Drive hypothesis-driven business strategy for YouTube products across users, partners, and creators.
  • Develop GTM plans, execute communication documents, and lead experiments/trusted tester programs.
  • Establish operational excellence by setting and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and driving annual business planning.
  • Gather market intelligence and conduct analyses and modeling to develop insights and SQL-based dashboards.
  • Build actionable plans and roadmaps and align cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful implementation of change initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory role.
  • 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience using SQL or data analytics tools to deliver insights and recommendations.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Experience in consumer internet and media industries.
  • Experience with controlled experiments, causal studies, and communicating technical results to non-technical audiences.
