About the Role

Partner with project teams to ensure regulatory obligations are identified, tracked, and governed, while maintaining program-wide visibility through centralised dashboards and reporting. Coach project managers, identify risks and dependencies, and work with stakeholders to drive consistent compliance outcomes. Build compliance capability and shape the future of compliance at Optus.

Responsibilities

  • Embed compliance frameworks within project teams by reviewing scope documentation to ensure all regulatory obligations are identified, tracked, and governed.
  • Maintain central dashboards for real-time insights into project status, linking evidence to obligations, and tracking remediation actions.
  • Coach and challenge project managers on the effective application of the Standard Compliance Framework.
  • Identify overlaps, dependencies, and risks that could impact project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts in regulatory obligations, influence compliance outcomes, and build program-wide capability.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years' compliance experience in a highly regulated industry, with a strong focus on consumer-facing obligations.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • Deep understanding of compliance frameworks and their implementation across complex programs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and evidence discipline.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including coaching teams, challenging assumptions, and driving compliance outcomes.
