About the Role
As an intern in Risk & Regulatory Advisory within Investment Management, you will support financial institutions in optimizing processes, minimizing risks, implementing regulatory requirements, and adhering to compliance standards. You will contribute to developing sustainable solutions and gain insights into the challenges and dynamics of investment management, regulatory demands, and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Support clients (Asset Managers, Asset Servicers, and Securities Firms) with operational, process-related, and regulatory issues in Investment Management.
- Gain familiarity with the challenges and dynamics of investment management and how companies adapt to changes.
- Participate directly in consulting projects to understand client regulatory requirements.
- Gain insights into transformation and digitalization projects within the financial sector.
- Contribute to the internal development of innovation topics.
- Actively participate in project teams, including proposal creation and daily project work.
Requirements
- Student of economics, law, or a comparable field, at least in the 4th semester.
- Ideally, previous experience with Asset Managers, Asset Servicers, Asset Owners, or in consulting through internships or vocational training.
- Interest in complex regulatory and strategic issues, as well as global financial markets.
- Analytical skills to understand and explain complex issues.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
- Availability for at least 3 months, ideally starting October 2026.
