About the Role

The Operations Officer II directs and administers the operational efforts of the branch, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while overseeing customer service and staff supervision. This role is crucial for maintaining branch efficiency, profitability, and compliance with bank standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assure staff development, training, and cross-training are conducted efficiently and in adherence to bank policies.
  • Assist in preparing work schedules and assign duties to operations personnel.
  • Maintain good customer relations by providing efficient service and developing new business.
  • Demonstrate brand behaviors in daily interactions.
  • Lead, influence, and build camaraderie within the department or branch.
  • Respond to external/internal inquiries regarding training or customer concerns.
  • Represent the bank at sponsored events and community outreach programs.
  • Onboard customers for new accounts.
  • Cross-sell bank products.
  • Ensure the branch is opened regularly and equipped for efficient operation.
  • Maintain operational guides, schedules, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Service and support cannabis customer accounts, onboard and service Intrafi customers, monitor Armor Carrier activity, and process CTRs.
  • Complete assigned duties, tasks, or projects.
  • Work with security vendors for troubleshooting, maintenance, and alarm issues.
  • Account for, preserve, and protect bank assets.
  • Ensure security and control policies and procedures are followed.
  • Adhere to all State and Federal Banking Regulations.
  • Complete all bank-mandated training.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and telephone protocol.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to type 60 wpm.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and discretion with confidential information.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank services and products.
  • Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Branch functions, policies, and procedures.

  • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate to coworkers.
  • Must be able to write, type, and use the phone.
