About the Role
AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure Team in New South Wales due to significant contract awards. The Water Infrastructure group provides services for water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors, focusing on sustainable outcomes. Joining the team offers access to industry-leading experts, mentoring, and opportunities for collaboration with interstate and international offices.
Responsibilities
- Support the design on various water infrastructure projects including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals.
- Coordinate, manage, and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
- Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain relationships working with various clients and local, regional, and global AECOM colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams and project delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications & CPEng (or working towards/eligible).
- Demonstrated experience on water and/or wastewater projects including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals, within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
- An interest in mentoring, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
- Passion for delivering high quality work & excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
