About the Role
Roche's Finance department is seeking experienced Finance Managers/Sr. Finance Managers to join the newly created R&D Finance Network. This role will support pRED, gRED & PD, focusing on enterprise partnering and fostering strong relationships to drive greater impact for patients. The role requires business acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate a complex global organization to accelerate innovation and implement a digital culture.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a finance enterprise partner to molecule teams and/or development functions in early and/or late stage.
- Act as a thought partner and leader in driving value creation in the pipeline, productivity, and transformation initiatives.
- Drive transparency and insights to support sound business decisions.
- Co-create and deliver the new R&D Finance model and advance collaboration between eCOE and other Finance units.
- Build and dissolve networks across the organization to drive business outcomes and initiatives.
- Accelerate innovation and implement a true Digital Culture across the R&D Finance network.
- Seek opportunities to align interests with business needs and impact, committing to action.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree is required, MA/MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally including several years of experience as a business partner or global controller.
- Excellent ability to interact with and influence decision-making at senior management levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex analyses into pragmatic and actionable guidance for business partners.
- Ability to network throughout a global, complex, and matrixed organization.
- Possess a dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset, seeking continuous opportunities and improvement.
- Strategic agility to develop flexible scenarios and solutions.
- Ability to anticipate changing internal and competitive landscapes.
- Capacity to envision the future state of finance and the business and lead teams to develop and execute long-term initiatives.
