About the Role

Responsibilities
- Apply extensive knowledge and experience to obtain, integrate, and report client data and develop and apply analytic methodologies and principles.
- Lead the application of analytic techniques and help define project objectives and strategic direction.
- Resolve complex problems requiring in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles.
- Create and promulgate data collection templates, maintain databases, and work with various analytical tools.
- Analyze acquisition data, formulate conclusions and recommendations, design and develop materials, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Conduct research, data gathering, and technical reviews.
- Produce written deliverables including reports, spreadsheets, databases, formal process mapping, technical design, system testing, and implementation activities.
- Troubleshoot issues in reports related to data; assimilate, integrate, and interface technical knowledge with business/system requirements.
- Manage client relationships and expectations.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for a DHS suitability clearance.
- 4 years of professional experience in data science or data engineering.
- BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Science (Physics or Chemistry only), or Mathematics with 24 semester credit hours in quantitative analysis.
- Validated analytical, creative, and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to present solutions both in written and oral format.
- Solid understanding of applying mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods to real-world problems.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access.
- US Citizenship.
- Must live in Metro DC area.
