About the Role
The RN Urgent Care will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting, supporting both Jordan Health patients and non-Jordan Health patients. This role is crucial for meeting the comprehensive healthcare needs of the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality, patient centered care to patients of all ages in the urgent care setting.
- Ensure Jordan Health patients and non-Jordan Health patients receive high quality, consistent, competent, patient-centered care.
- Triage patients accordingly for emergent and non-emergent needs.
- Support Jordan Health Urgent Care financial and regulatory objectives.
- Support and develop Jordan Health strategic objectives and key programs.
Requirements
- 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Preferred experience in urgent care, emergency department, pediatrics, or OB/GYN.
- Valid Registered Nurse licensure in New York State with no negative actions.
- Current provider BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association.
- NYS Infection Control Certificate.
- Infection Control Certification.
Skills
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills both phone and in person.
- Ability to work well with others in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to organize and multi-task.
