About the Role
The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will lead the development and implementation of secure technology solutions to protect critical law enforcement systems and sensitive data. This role embeds security into digital infrastructure, aligning cyber capabilities with policing priorities to enable the adoption of new technologies and ensure effective policing services.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of secure technology solutions.
- Embedding security into digital infrastructure.
- Aligning cyber capabilities with policing priorities.
- Involvement in architectural decisions and influencing secure design across platforms.
- Managing full life cycle security, from secure onboarding of devices to decommissioning.
- Shaping security practices across the enterprise.
- Collaborating with architects and leadership to embed security into core business processes.
- Developing automation for security posture management.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
- Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
- Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
- Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum).
- Attach an up-to-date resume that clearly details skills & experience.
