About the Role
Amazon is seeking an analytical Program Manager for its Australian Retail business to drive scalable supply chain improvements. This role involves understanding commercial frameworks and operational processes to enhance operational performance, reduce defects, save costs and time, and improve quality and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with external suppliers, internal customers, and team members, requiring strong prioritization, multitasking, program management, and attention to detail skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage operational performance and strategy of partners and their impact on the P&L.
- Build and own supply chain relationships with major Australian retail vendors.
- Drive key operational performance indicators and identify opportunities for scaled operations across the vendor base.
- Influence internal stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills to gain support for team priorities and deliver results.
- Manage projects and programs that achieve cost efficiencies, enabling broader product selection and faster delivery for customers.
- Conduct site visits to vendors and other Amazon locations across Australia as needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
