About the Role
Join NSW TrainLink's Strategic Investment and Delivery team to support accurate revenue reconciliation and assurance, informed decision-making, and effective commercial outcomes. You will influence, design, and implement new approaches and translate insights into practical processes.
Responsibilities
- Undertake revenue reconciliation for NSW TrainLink services, comparing bookings with funds received.
- Develop and embed practical processes and procedures to support accurate outcomes.
- Research and analyse booking and financial information from different sources, identifying trends, issues, and discrepancies.
- Prepare accurate, concise insights to support management action, improvement, and planning.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with subject matter experts across NSW TrainLink and Transport for NSW.
- Recommend, test, and implement sustainable reconciliation practices that support effective commercial operations and outcomes.
Requirements
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and/or have demonstrated relevant professional experience.
- Experience in revenue reconciliation, finance operations, payment, or business analysis or similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience analysing and reconciling complex financial or transactional data in a large, complex or regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills to compare datasets, investigate discrepancies, validate information, and prepare clear, accurate reporting.
- Analytical curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Judgement to recommend new strategies, develop and implement fit-for-purpose processes, and make informed decisions.
