About the Role

The Program Manager, Contract Training is responsible for identifying, developing, marketing, staffing, supporting, and evaluating contract training, programs, and services offered by Corporate Training Solutions. This role ensures the effective operation and delivery of licensing and compliance programs by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the business development, planning, and delivery of contracts and programs within CTS.
  • Conducts current needs analysis, competitive analysis, and reviews business and learning & development trends.
  • Identifies new business opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Develops, reviews, and maintains CTS curriculum and products.
  • Assesses and makes recommendations to support the delivery of licensing and compliance programs.
  • Liaises with other divisions and departments.
  • Works with the Senior Manager to meet revenue goals, client engagement, and partnership development.
  • Conducts activities including advising/responding to potential clients and participants on CTS product sets and customized training.
  • Manages the operation of all Transportation, Licensing and Compliance programs.
  • Ensures departmental budget is used effectively by optimizing human, fiscal, and physical resources.
  • Manages day-to-day activity of instructors, determining work priorities and assignments.
  • Responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and performance management of instructors and staff.
  • Participates in the establishment of revenue targets and continually monitors budget data.
  • Works with CTS leadership in developing revenue and costing for new initiatives.
  • Accountable for arranging a variety of marketing and partnership efforts.
  • Identifies and implements strategies to promote contract training business.
  • Identifies new target markets for customized training and programming.
  • Assists in identifying new trends in the marketplace related to new technologies and markets.
  • Maintains and develops relationships with Colleges Ontario, educational institutions, and partnership agreements with business associations and not-for-profit organizations.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary 3 year diploma/degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ business experience in marketing, sales, corporate communications and/or academic settings.
  • Demonstrated marketing ability with excellent problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated administrative background including budget responsibilities and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Project/operational management, leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to foster a team-based approach to operational planning and problem solving.
  • Transcripts are mandatory as a condition of employment.

Salary/Compensations

  • $91,902.00 - $131,070.00
