About the Role
Hupo is building AI products that help enterprise banks and insurers improve how their frontline teams identify opportunities, make decisions, and serve customers. You'll work on products that help advisors prepare for customer conversations and run them better, at the intersection of AI, advisor behaviour, and enterprise distribution. You'll own specific parts of this product line, and the decisions you make there will help shape how the rest of it is built.
Responsibilities
- Own product surfaces end to end, including problem definition, specification, trade-offs, launch, and post-launch analysis.
- Engage deeply with enterprise BFSI customers to understand advisor workflows and market operations, translating needs into product decisions.
- Deconstruct ambiguous or contested problems into clear, actionable product specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to rapidly ship products for live enterprise clients.
- Utilize AI tooling by default to enhance personal productivity and demonstrate its application.
- Define and track success metrics such as adoption, behavior change, and downstream outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to reason from first principles and solve unfamiliar problems.
- Proactive ownership and ability to show evidence of improvements made.
- Capacity for rapid and deliberate learning, with examples of self-taught skills.
- Experience building tangible projects (portfolio, side project, tool, etc.).
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle: discovery, specification, release, and measurement.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using AI tooling to increase work output.
- Foundations in design and user research.
- Deep understanding of AI technology, particularly speech and language models.
- Experience building with LLMs (prompting, retrieval, evaluation).
- Domain knowledge in insurance, wealth management, or financial advice.
- Technical background sufficient for reading code, querying data, or prototyping.
- Working proficiency in a language spoken in target markets beyond English.
