About the Role

As a Banking Consultant in Retail Banking, you will provide customers with a seamless banking experience by meeting their end-to-end financial needs and goals. This involves transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating customers on available financial solutions, including digital options. The role is primarily branch-based and focuses on delivering high standards of customer service to foster customer advocacy. You will be part of a collaborative team, acting as a role model and peer coach to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions.
  • Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.
  • Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
  • Take responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in being a user and promoter of technology; working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Sound understanding of compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
