About the Role
The Emulation team is part of the central SoC digital hardware organization responsible for the overall quality of the SoC. The Emulation team works closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers. The team is currently seeking a candidate for emulation support technician.
Responsibilities
- Daily support of custom hardware/server configuration
- Interfacing with the larger SVE team to triage and resolve issues
- Removal and replacement of specific hardware components
- Working from a ticket queue
Requirements
- Familiarity with common PC components (PCIe, USB, CPU, GPU) and their interconnections
- Ability to read basic schematics
- Ability to assist in hardware debug activities
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Experience Level
- 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience with a Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience with an Associate's degree
- 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience
