About the Role
Join a high-performing Finance team to deliver accurate financial, regulatory, and statutory reporting, while driving automation and reporting transformation initiatives. You will support the delivery of external reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and control, while identifying opportunities for process enhancement and automation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver Head Office, statutory and regulatory reporting, including APRA submissions, in line with accounting standards and group requirements.
- Support financial statement preparation, Board reporting and external audit requirements.
- Analyse financial and reporting data to identify insights, reporting issues and opportunities for control enhancement.
- Drive reporting transformation, automation and process improvement initiatives using SQL, Power BI and Power Query.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Technology and external auditors.
Requirements
- CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion).
- 3-5 years' experience in banking, financial services or a Big 4 accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory reporting and accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing large and complex data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
