About the Role

This position is responsible for handling, preparing, and executing all live elements at Long Island Nets home games for the 2025-2026 season, supporting leadership in providing a world-class game experience for fans. The role requires late nights and open availability for a majority of home games and select special events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support in coordinating game contests, entertainment performances, and live camera hits.
  • Assist in the logistics, setup, service, and daily operations of games.
  • Escort and coordinate on-site experience for entertainment groups and talent.
  • Communicate necessary details with Long Island Nets Entertainment Team Leads on game days.
  • Organize Game Presentation storage closet and prepare game-specific items for giveaways.
  • Support in-arena hosts by reviewing details prior to contests and camera blocking during live hits.
  • Create a high-energy environment in the arena and hype up the crowd.

Requirements

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with critical attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with fans of all ages.
  • Ability to multi-task, remain organized, and prioritize complex tasks.
  • Maintain proper and professional decorum.
  • Remain open to feedback and professional development.
  • Be personable and courteous at all times to arena, Nets, and production staff.
  • Possess some knowledge in sports terminology and basketball operations.
  • Be punctual based on call times and have reliable transportation.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and discretion at all times with confidential information.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Availability for at least 70% of Long Island Nets home games.
