About the Role
ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager passionate about the construction process. This role offers the opportunity to drive project performance and profit from day one, with associates empowered to lead their success.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer project activities, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
- Ensure accurate and complete project estimates.
- Collaborate with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
- Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, discuss cost reduction, and provide value engineering ideas.
- Oversee the subcontractor buyout and selection process.
- Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
- Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve desired results.
- Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes.
- Implement necessary changes, utilize customer input for improvements, and meet or exceed client expectations.
- Act with integrity, supporting company values and associates while focusing on meeting customer requirements.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's of Engineering program or related field of study.
- Open to a full-time opportunity post-graduation.
- Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0.
- Prior construction internship experience is a plus.
- Extracurricular involvement is a plus.
