About the Role
ARCO/Murray is seeking highly motivated Project Manager Interns passionate about the construction process for the Summer of 2027. This role empowers associates to drive their success, taking responsibility for project performance and profit from day one.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with estimating, including describing project proposals and assigning dollar values.
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling, creating timelines for subcontractors.
- Attend design meetings with owners and teams to understand design requirements.
- Assist with buyout, including sending bid instructions, schedules, and drawings to subcontractors, and evaluating proposals.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings and submittals with the Project Manager and design team.
- Assist Project Managers with billing, managing subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and tracking project costs.
- Visit job sites with Project Managers and work with Project Superintendents to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in weekly training sessions covering role understanding, business operations, building trades, and leveraging engineering backgrounds.
Requirements
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study.
- Prior industry internship experience is a plus.
- Extracurricular involvement is a plus.
