About the Role
Seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician or an experienced Family Medicine physician for 24-hour coverage shifts. The role involves providing emergency medical services across three affiliate hospitals, with APP support during peak hours and solo coverage during other times. This is an opportunity to join a roster for occasional shift pickups.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour emergency medicine coverage.
- Offer solo coverage during non-APP supported hours.
- Collaborate with APP support from 1100 to 2100 daily.
- Treat an average of 25 patients per day.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Comfortable with solo practice and rural Critical Access Hospital environments.
- Possess a permanent NH License; temporary licenses are not accepted.
- Must have completed mandatory orientation.
- Minimum of 100 patients treated in the past 12 months.
- Recent clinical activity in emergency medicine within at least two of the last four years.
- Ongoing competency must include treating at least 200 emergency medicine patients in the past 24 months.
