About the Role
Are you a Psychology Major looking for hands-on patient care experience? This role at Samaritan Hospital offers the opportunity to perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding and ambulation.
- Take vitals and perform patient care documentation.
- Manage supplies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and stand for long hours.
- Completion of a 1-week SPHP PCT training program.
