About the Role

This role reports directly to the Director of Field Service and consults with Owner/Operators to optimize sales, QSC, profit, and people development, aiming to maximize business potential for the Owner/Operator organization. Key customers include Owner/Operators, Field Service Directors, Restaurant Leadership Teams, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an advocate for the Owner/Operator and the Company, ensuring clear communication of both points of view.
  • Identifies priority Owner/Operators and restaurants, and coaches Owner/Operators to improve restaurant performance.
  • Provides rewards and recognition for Owner/Operators and Management Teams.
  • Organizes and conducts annual Owner/Operator Business Meetings under the direction of the Field Service Director.
  • Provides recommendations on growth and rewrite status to the Field Service Director.
  • Assists Owner/Operators in developing and executing annual reinvestment plans, including new restaurants, re-builds, re-models, and equipment purchases.
  • Recommends and coordinates assistance from Regional Support Staff (Construction, Controller, Real Estate, Human Resources, Training, etc.) when appropriate.
  • Demonstrates and reinforces leadership behaviors and basic people minimums to gain commitment from Owner/Operators and Restaurant teams.
  • Protects the McDonald's brand by ensuring restaurants meet QSC, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Consults and collaborates with Owner/Operators to improve restaurant systems (scheduling, ordering, training, planned maintenance, etc.) and achieve long-term objectives.
  • Assists Owner/Operators in ensuring appropriate staffing levels to support business growth.
  • Utilizes informational resources (PACE, PNLs, Guest Satisfaction Measurement) to identify opportunities and threats, and develops business plans to optimize market potential.
  • Coordinates the implementation and execution of new products and processes within assigned markets.
  • Works with Owner/Operators to ensure an ongoing local (My Store) Marketing plan for each restaurant.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of McDonald's restaurant (or other QSR) operations experience demonstrating expert knowledge of operations procedures and key restaurant performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication skills specific to McDonald's franchise and corporate organization.
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders and demonstrate the OneTeam approach.
  • Ability to navigate through an ambiguous, ever-changing environment.
  • Self-starter capable of multi-tasking.

Salary/Compensations

  • $77,000 - $102,000 per year
