About the Role
Ensure a first-class social media experience for the people of NSW by producing engaging content, strategizing and deploying paid activities, and supporting customers with inquiries, requests, and comments on social media.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of consistent and effective social media communication across cluster channels.
- Support channel management and organic activities.
- Monitor and report on metrics to continuously improve social media performance.
- Provide strategic oversight of channels and campaigns.
- Facilitate moderation and amplification to exceed social objectives and create an exceptional customer experience.
- Assist in managing paid social media campaigns, including tracking expenses, building audiences, optimizing performance, and producing content.
- Support engagement in social media discussion, and delegate or respond to audience requests/enquiries to create a two-way dialogue with the community.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to promote social media literacy across the cluster.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise as an in-house or agency Social Media Operator or similar.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to work across multiple tasks.
- Desire to build healthy partnerships.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media activities.
- Experience in the delivery of reports.
- Proficiency with common social networks and their content studios and ads managers.
- Experience using CRM social media tools.
- Marketing experience is desired.
