Responsibilities
- Performs appropriate patient evaluation and high-quality imaging.
- Utilizes the PACS system.
- Sets up and adjusts ultrasound equipment.
- Performs ultrasound image-guided procedures.
- Demonstrates proficiency in high-level disinfecting.
- Familiarity with different vendor machines.
- Utilizes EMR system (Epic).
- Takes on-call shift coverage.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or some college courses.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
