About the Role

Peregrine is seeking a Customer Advocate to manage all customer relationships throughout the contract. You will serve as the primary liaison between customers and our internal team, conveying customer needs to engineers and assisting customers with platform updates, workflows, and features. This role is crucial for customer retention and growth, requiring an empathetic listener, a creative problem-solver, and a proactive individual.

Responsibilities

  • Own all customer relationships throughout the contract.
  • Serve as the primary interface between customers and the Peregrine team.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to engineers.
  • Support customers with new updates, workflows, and features to the platform.
  • Interpret multiple and complex data sources to ensure users are working optimally with the platform.
  • Conduct dashboards, metrics, and onsite visits to build deep relationships with agency stakeholders.
  • Ensure full user adoption and foster long-term relationships.
  • Solve customer problems empathetically and unlock new value.
  • Work through internal roadblocks creatively to ensure agency success.
  • Partner with other teams to develop case studies and success stories.
  • Act as an active and empathetic listener.
  • Be a creative value-panhandler.
  • Be a proactive problem solver.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct experience supporting customers to adopt technical software solutions.
  • Previous work directly or in a vendor relationship with law enforcement, public safety, or the military is strongly preferred, not required.
  • Significant experience in the enterprise software space, startup experience also a plus.
  • Ability to listen to synthesize user feedback and be the first line of support throughout the contract.
  • Successful track record of zero churn and positive net revenue retention.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to travel ~60% of the time.
  • Place a high value on maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Care about customer needs and providing the best solution empathetically.
  • Energized when working directly with customers and crave a role at the intersection of user engagement and product adoption.
  • Passion for uncovering and addressing roadblocks so every user is always satisfied.
