About the Role
As a Communications Manager - Internal, you will lead communications and employee engagement for significant change initiatives across AP+, turning complex change into clear, creative, and human stories that people can understand, connect with, and act on. This is a 6-month maximum term contract role with a potential for a six-month extension.
Responsibilities
- Deliver communications to support a migration from Slack to Teams and an office move.
- Own internal communications and engagement plans for change initiatives, shaping the narrative from awareness through adoption.
- Create compelling messaging about what is changing, why it matters, when it is happening, and what employees need to do.
- Develop engaging content and campaigns across various channels including intranet, Teams, email, All Hands, events, workplace screens, and video.
- Collaborate with project teams, Technology, People & Culture, leaders, and the internal Design Studio to ensure a unified employee experience.
- Equip leaders and managers with communication tools and guidance to effectively lead their teams through change.
- Monitor employee feedback, measure reach, engagement, and adoption, and adapt communications accordingly.
- Manage an external agency supporting the Teams migration setup and the development of training materials.
Requirements
- Experienced internal communications, employee engagement, or change communications professional.
- Exposure to large-scale organizational change.
- Familiarity with Teams Viva Engage.
- Ability to simplify complex, technical, or ambiguous information into clear, human-centric communications.
- Proficiency in developing campaign narratives, executive messaging, and briefing external agencies.
- Understanding of how internal channels, including Microsoft Teams and intranets, function and interact.
- Confidence in partnering with senior leaders, project teams, and subject matter experts.
- Focus on impact, utilizing employee feedback and data to refine communications.
- AP+ is not partnering with Recruitment agencies for this role.
