About the Role
We are seeking a Communications Manager based in London to take full ownership of media relations across EMEA and APAC, driving our internal communications strategy, and supporting the broader global communications function. This role balances strategic planning with hands-on execution, maintaining a steady drumbeat of partner and corporate announcements, elevating brand visibility, and keeping our global team aligned and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Help build category leadership through strategic storytelling, translating technical capabilities and macro trends into resonant public stories.
- Build and execute thought leadership tracks for our executive team, including op-eds, speaking engagements, and organic social strategy.
- Own regional PR and media strategies across EMEA and APAC, driving partner launches, product announcements, and corporate news.
- Act as the primary regional day-to-day lead for media inquiries, analyst relations, and external PR agencies.
- Draft, edit, and localize press releases, pitches, briefing documents, and media lists to secure high-impact regional coverage.
- Serve as the regional issue management lead across EMEA and APAC, drafting reactive statements, maintaining risk messaging protocols, and coordinating alignment with global legal and executive leadership.
- Own the internal comms roadmap, ensuring our global workforce stays connected to company strategy, performance, and culture.
- Partner with the People Team and regional leadership to execute company-wide communication moments, including quarterly All-Hands and executive updates.
- Develop engaging internal content to highlight partner wins, product milestones, and employee achievements.
- Collaborate with Global comms colleagues to support global campaigns and overarching brand messaging.
- Identify proactive thought leadership, executive visibility, and speaking opportunities for leadership across fintech, insurtech, and embedded finance spaces.
- Drive executive communications, awards submissions, and owned event content.
- Amplify media coverage and internal wins across owned social media and internal platforms.
- Package news and narrative assets to empower regional teams to promote milestones on their professional networks.
- When a campaign is PR-led, own the integrated strategy from start to finish, coordinating with Growth on execution across social and other channels.
Requirements
- 7-10 years in communications, public relations, or journalism; agency and client-side experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of navigating media landscapes across EMEA and exposure to (or experience coordinating across) APAC markets; broader multi-region or global experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing external PR (partner/corporate announcements) alongside internal communications (employee engagement, executive comms, town halls).
- Experience in B2B SaaS, insurtech, fintech, or fast-growing technology sectors is strongly preferred.
- Fluent with AI-assisted workflows, using tools like ChatGPT or Claude as part of your daily process for research synthesis, first drafts, and idea generation.
- Solid experience collaborating with and guiding external PR agency partners.
